Evaluation

Families will be asked to share a detailed history of their child’s development, along with any current concerns related to motor, social, and sensory skills. The client will be observed during play, general movement, and reflex pattern responses while on the massage table. Reflex pattern testing involves safe, calm, and gentle touch, along with simple guided movements on the table.

Every individual is unique. If the patient is unable to fully participate in testing, modifications can be made, and general observations may be used to complete the initial assessment. The patient’s comfort, safety, and sense of security are always the top priorities.

Along with the evaluation, a detailed report summarizing findings including primary reflex assessment results. Standardized results from the Sensory Processing Measure-2 and the Developmental Profile-4 will also be included.

Treatment

60 minutes

Following the initial evaluation, therapy sessions will be individualized to meet each client’s specific needs and comfort level. For clients receiving intervention incorporating MNRI®, gentle touch and movement techniques will be utilized to support reflex integration, promote healthier neural pathways, and help regulate the nervous system.
